The SOFTCASE CE12 Lightweight is entirely mechanical, instead of electronic. The electrical components are in the power head, with none in the bag housing or handle, thereby minimizing electrical connectors and further improving reliability. This also means that the on/off switch is located on the power head, so the user’s foot can easily activate it. The filter bag housing of the SEBO SOFTCASE CE12 is made from a soft textile material with a two-way zipper. This durable material is shockproof, lightweight and won’t scratch walls and furniture. The impeller sucks in the dirt picked up by the rotating brush and transports it through the air channel into the removable filter bag. A simple and effective system, which generates an astonishing volume flow of 7.13 gallons per second despite the relatively low rated power of 400 watts!

Efficient Impeller Technology – A 17,000 rpm impeller is driven by a toothed belt. A separate toothed belt drives the brush at approximately 3,000 rpm. This system makes the most efficient use of the motor power for powerful suction and brush action.

Designed for All Floor Surfaces – The power head features a four-level height adjustment, up or down, for optimal cleaning effectiveness. The brush raises off the floor when the handle is in the upright locked position.

Large Volume Filter Bag –The SEBO SOFTCASE CE12 has a sealable four-layer electrostatic filter bag with ultra-fine microfiltration and a volume of 1.4 gal. Changing bags is easy and clean, and a hygiene cap keeps dust sealed during removal and disposal.

Soft-start Feature, and Automatic Shut Off – The vacuum’s gradual power-up capability extends motor life. In case of a blockage or overload, the unit automatically shuts off, avoiding damage to clothing items inadvertently left on the floor or hidden under beds.

Practical Cleaning Access and Sealing Strip – The cleaning flap on the bottom of the power head allows easy access into the air channel to remove blockages. A replaceable sealing strip prevents dust and debris kickback on hard floors.

Easy Cord Maintenance, On/Off Foot Switch – A 27-foot power cord can be quickly
and easily replaced if damaged. The On/Off foot switch is located on the power head.
